There are no ifs, ands, or buts about it -- this year has been a doozy. And we wouldn't be where we are today without the support of our incredible community.

This week, we want to take a step back and reflect on one heck of a year. Despite 2020's setbacks (it's okay, we can call it a curse), the Bomber family has still been able to accomplish so much. With the help of our wonderful community members (oh hey, that's you!), we've been able to carry the Bomber mission forward all year long, in spite of the hardships (and, y'know, a global pandemic) that 2020 brought on. 

That's why we also want to say THANK YOU. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are today. It's just that simple. Because our wonderful community members continue supporting our business, sharing the love on social media, reading our emails, and sharing our story with the world, we're able to keep doing what we love doing and bring you quality sunglasses, safety gear, and good vibes. 

Let's talk about "Good Vibes" for a second. At Bomber Eyewear, we make a lot of silly jokes and send out a lot of puns in our emails, but the reason we do that is because we believe in sharing positivity with the world. With so much going on this year, we hope that we've stood as a source of self-love, validation, and support -- if even ONE of our emails, blogs, or social media posts made you crack a smile this year, then our job is complete. 

Let's also take a look at what YOU have helped make happen this year. When the pandemic first got scary, the Bomber team was able to pivot and make significant donations to first responders. We sent boxes of Bomber gear to the brave men and women fighting the California wildfires, safety gear to medical professionals on the front lines of COVID-19, and masks and other PPE to first responders in our home state of California. 

In response to the pandemic, we also rolled out the Civil Servants Discount Program, helping get protective equipment into the hands of first responders, teachers, lifeguards, and more at cost. On the innovation side, we perfected Bomber Rx and the Bombastic Rewards program, finding new ways to show our support for our community, stir up trouble, and make sure our supporters were having fun. 

You may have noticed that many of our blogs this year focused on self-care: With so much negativity and (necessary) seriousness in the news, we wanted to make sure that Bomber Eyewear was your constant source of joy, fun, and relaxation. We're so much more than a sunglasses brand, and the only reason we can be that way is because we have a kick-ass community backing us up. 

Honestly, when it comes down to it, we're just glad we're still here and still kickin' with you. So many mom and pop businesses like ours have had to close their doors in the face of the pandemic, and we know that we're among the lucky ones. That's why we want to offer a heartfelt THANK YOU to anyone who has bought a pair of glasses, spread the word on social media, shared our story in any way, and helped make our dreams a reality. 

This year, from the bottom of our hearts, the Bomber team wishes you the healthiest and happiest holidays of all. Thank you for all you do, and keep on keepin' on.
