Cookies Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on www.bombereyewear.com, what they do, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website, letting the site remember your actions and preferences. We also use related technologies — pixels, tags, local storage, and session storage — that work in a similar way. We call all of them "cookies" here.

The cookies we use

Strictly necessary

Required for the Site to function. These cannot be switched off.

  • Shopify — cart contents, checkout session, secure sign-in, fraud screening, and load balancing. Includes _shopify_y, _shopify_s, cart, and _secure_session_id.

Analytics and performance

These help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.

  • Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, time on site, traffic sources, and purchase events. Includes _ga and _ga_*. Typically expires after 2 years.
  • Google Tag Manager — controls which tracking tags load. Stores no analytics data itself.
  • Shopify analytics — store performance reporting in our admin.

Advertising and targeting

Used to show you Bomber Eyewear ads elsewhere and to measure whether those ads led to a purchase.

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — we set an _fbc cookie when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram ad, and use the Meta pixel for conversion measurement and advertising audiences. Typically expires after 90 days.
  • Google Ads — conversion tracking and remarketing.
  • Affiliatly — attributes your visit to the affiliate or referral partner who sent you, so they can be credited.

Functionality and personalisation

  • Klaviyo — recognises you so email and SMS signup forms and marketing are relevant, and attributes purchases to campaigns.
  • Yotpo — product reviews, and your rewards and loyalty points balance across visits.
  • Richpanel — keeps your support conversation available between visits.
  • Storemapper — remembers your location preference in the store locator.

How to control cookies

In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies will break parts of the Site, including your cart and checkout.

Advertising cookies. Use optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, or the platform links in our Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the tools we use change. The "last updated" date above shows the most recent revision.
