If you've been a longtime fan of Bomber Eyewear, you probably shared our excitement when we rolled out the Bombastic Rewards program earlier this year. Through the program, Bomber shoppers can collect points to cash in on spectacular savings for their favorite sunnies! 

But how exactly does the rewards program work? 

Today, we're breaking down everything you need to know about Bombastic Rewards: how to sign up, how to collect and cash in your points, and how to work your way to free sunnies toward the referral program. 

What is Bombastic Rewards?

Bombastic Rewards is our gift to you. This rewards program allows our shoppers to collect points, cash in on discounts, and take part in ~exclusive~ giveaways. The more you shop, the more you earn! VIPs in the program earn extra points, and even free sunnies! 

How do I sign up?

Sign-up is easy. Simply head to our shiny homepage and click on "Rewards." If you don't have an account, you'll be directed to create one, dropping in your contact info and birthday (so we can send you presents!). 

Whenever you want to check your points balance, refer a friend, or learn more about the rewards program, you'll click the Rewards link in our nav bar. 

How do I collect points?

How do points love thee? Let us count the ways! 

There are tons of ways to pick up points through the Bomber community -- and you can earn plenty of points without spending a cent! You'll earn 25 points right away just for creating your account, and can pick up more points for writing product reviews, following us on social media, or sharing referrals. When you shop on BomberEyewear.com, you'll earn 1 point for every dollar spent.

Okay, I've got some points -- how do I cash them in?

Cashing in points is as easy as earning them. When you've got your favorite sunnies in your cart, look to the right side of your screen. You'll see a drop-down menu (see below), with options to cash in points at 100, 200, 250, and 300. Simply select your point balance and cash in for discounts! 

• 100 points = $10
• 200 points = $20
• 250 points = $25
• 300 points = $30 

*300 points is the maximum number of points you can apply at one time.

You get the picture! Rewards dollars act the same as gift card balances, and they never expire. Just apply them to your cart before checkout, and you'll save a chunk of change on your purchase! 

What is a Bombastic VIP?

We're so glad you asked! In our eyes, you're all VIPs. Bombastic VIPs are big spenders and committed supporters who stock up on sunnies. The more you spend, the more you'll earn! 

When you create a Bombastic Rewards account, you start out as a Silver member, and earn 1 point for every dollar spent. After you spend $250 or more on BomberEyewear.com, you'll be bumped up to a Gold membership. Gold members earn 1.25x the points of Silver members, can cash in on one-time free shipping, and get access to exclusive products not yet released to the public. They also get early access to sales!

Platinum members are Bombastic VIPs who have spent $500 or more. You'll get all the cushy rewards of a Gold membership, with an extra boost to your points (1.5 points for every dollar), plus a FREE pair of sunnies on your next order! 

How do referrals work? 

The first time you wear your Bomber shades, you'll be shocked at the number of compliments you get from your friends. (Believe us, we can never stop talking about our floating frames!) When you're ready to share the love, you can give new Bomber shoppers $10--and earn a $10 reward yourself! 

To refer friends, head over to the "My Rewards" section of your account. Toward the bottom of the page, you'll find an easy form where you can drop your friends' email addresses. (See below.) Once you enter a friend's address, you'll be able to track who you sent an invite to, and whether or not they've cashed in their $10 welcome coupon. Once their first purchase goes through--BAM!--you'll find a $10 reward waiting in your account.

Are there any other ways to earn discounts?

When you join Bombastic Rewards, the party's just getting started. We're always looking for ways to celebrate, and one of our favorites is with birthday presents! On your birthday, we'll send you an exclusive coupon so you can buy yourself something nice. 

To enter your birthday info into your account, click on "Birthday Bonus" in the Rewards image mosaic. That will trigger an easy pop-up to enter your date of birth, and you'll automatically receive a kick-butt birthday present from us every year!
