"I'm an electrician and I have had nothing but a great time working with these. Their photochromic could be a bit darker, but it is good nonetheless. They hardly fog and if they do, it's because I have them real close to my face and there is no airflow to wick it away."

When the sunlight changes, the tint changes. The transition lenses on these photochromic sunglasses have a variable tint with particles that interact with the light as it hits the lens. The brighter the sun, the darker the tint. As the light dims, the tint on these transition lens glasses fades, providing a clear view.
They also block dangerous UV rays and filter Harmful Blue Light, which can be found outdoors and from digital devices. These photochromic shades will improve contrast and clarity, reduce glare, and darken/lighten depending on ultraviolet exposure. Buy these photochromic glasses today! Q&A
- From what (vlt range) % to what % do they go to?. Is lens replaceable?
- Hi Alex, The photochromic lenses on the BOMB RIPPA Safety transition from about 85–90% VLT (nearly clear indoors) down to roughly 15–20% VLT (smoke tint outdoors in full UV). The lenses are not replaceable — all Bomber eyewear is built as a one-piece design for durability and safety. — The Bomber Eyewear Team
- Do the photochromic work inside a vehicle…? In other words through the vehicles glass…
- The Photochromic requires direct sunlight to properly transition. So yes! if they are getting direct sunlight through the windshield they will change :)
