What's the light transmission on these compared to the boogie and mega bombers?

Hi Chris, The photochromic safety lenses transition from about 89% VLT (clear indoors) down to around 16% VLT (smoke tint outdoors). The polarized smoke lenses on the Boogie and Mega styles are darker by default, generally sitting in the 12–15% VLT range, which makes them better for consistently bright outdoor use compared to photochromic lenses. — The Bomber Eyewear Team

Do these come in transition lens also? # BG111 I am look in for a safety lens in smoke that is polarized and that will transition from dark to light. Just had cataract lens put in and want to protect my eyes spent $$$ for new eye lenses. If you can show me something that will work I would appreciate it. Thanks Don

I am thinking about getting the polarised smoked lens Just need to know how dog they are can I use them indoors or will it be too dark to see well

Hi Joseph, most people don't use these indoors as they are made for outdoor use. However, we do offer a photochromic version - that go from dark to light when going from outdoor to indoor. Can prescription lens be put on these with transcision?

Although we don’t offer prescription lenses for our products, most of our frames are prescription lens compatible. We’ve had several customers take our frames to their own optometrists and have had prescription lenses put in them. You can purchase just the frames from us, if you like.
