World Renowned Artist Comes to L.A. to Create Ocean Themed Murals in our Underserved Communities
World renowned artist and Bomber Eyewear Ambassador, Hilton Alves is collaborating with the school children of two LAUSD schools, along with the LAPD and other local community members to create ocean themed murals in our underserved communities.
From April 12 - 15, 2016, Hilton Alves will be at Holmes Avenue Elementary located at 5018 Holmes Avenue, Los Angeles
From April 12 - 15, 2016, Hilton Alves will be at Ann Street Elementary located at 126 Bloom Street, Los Angeles
These two murals are murals #10 and #11 of Alves’ 101 Perfect Waves Project, an international mural project designed by Alves to paint 101 murals featuring perfect waves, beach scenes, and marine life around the world. His aim in painting huge murals and planning activities with local communities is to inspire people to have a greater relationship with art and to take part in environmental preservation.
