Feeling the “Mana” at the 40th Annual Buffalo’s Big Board Classic in Makaha
The 40th Annual Buffalo’s Big Board Classic, where Bomber Eyewear was one of the proud sponsors, came to a close last weekend, proving once again, that the spirit of “Old” Hawaiian watersports is alive and well. Beautiful weather and water conditions graced the surfboard competition held at Makaha Surfing Beach on the West-side of the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Truly unlike any other in the world, this friendly surfboard competition was chock-full of amazing displays of watersports from all types of watermen, Hawaiian or not.
Bomber Eyewear was privileged to be able to provide eyewear to all the winners and honored late friend and Bomber photographer Jeff “Mana” Walthall by introducing the Bomber Eyewear “Mana” Series. Limited Edition. After the awards ceremony, the event wrapped up with a typical Hawaiian local feast and pa’ina (party). Whether you competed or spectated, you couldn’t deny leaving with a sense of cultural enrichment and ‘Ohana (family).
