Bomber's History

Bomber began in 1997 when our first floating glasses were produced and sold. Since then, the Bomber brand has grown to be recognized worldwide for producing durable, stylish and affordable eyewear to live, work and play in.

The X-Bombs, our first Bomber safety glasses, were developed when Tommy was trying to solve his own problem. Being around the water so much, he kept having his glasses fall off and sink to the ocean floor. In developing a flotation method that had extra benefits (low cost, unobtrusive, comfortable, gripping), Tommy soon had people around the world asking him for a pair.

BomberEyewear.com, which was launched in 2001, allows customers to shop beyond the stores and catalog, offering a much wider range of styles, colors and sizes.
